Libra Meets Virgo

Libra -
Diplomaitic and urbane
Romantic and charming
Easygoing and sociable
Idealistic and peaceable

Virgo-
Modest and shy
Meticulous and reliable
Practical and diligent
Intelligent and analytical

With the above traits of the two Zodiac signs, their elements being Air & Earth what do we get ??

The stars -

Ana (Full name hidden) 30, Bolivian Princess, intelligent, smart, loving, sometimes decides to run away.

Vim 35, Indian Tiger, Shy, Honest, loving, sometimes gets worried and gets upset.

This story is about their love in my words, words that is straight from the heart.

I shall throughout this article use Libra for Ana and Virgo for Vim as those are their signs.

Dec 04 2010, Libra meets Virgo on skype. The conversation was short and sweet with Libra deciding to reveal her self to Virgo. Virgo being calm loses all control on seeing her and feels an instant connect which has been with Libra even before they skyped. He speaks to her and still keeps his reserves about his emotions. She being a true Libra balances the conversation with her charm and intelligence and ensure at any given point the Virgo man is not uncomfortable. She sees in his deep brown eyes and senses pain and love. She searches his soul and sees the purity and honesty. She tells him about her trip to India and her constant feeling of missing or knowing someone there. Virgo true to his nature keeps his convesation to the chat and finds it difficult to connect with Libra even though inside he feels a strong bond with her.

Many a days passed and their conversations grew with Libra really working hard to open this very straight faced brown eyed Virgo. She used all her skills the almighty had given her and she poured a lot of love and affection to him. He slowly started smiling and reciprocating her care but he would still wear his mask that he hid behind. She coaxs him to call her, he obliges and dials her number. He hears her voice and she for the first time hears his voice. Even though they Skyped, he never used a Mic with her. She loses a few heartbeats on hearing his voice and it is said the Libran Lady fell in love instantly with the Virgo Man. He hears her voice and feels he has heard this before. He feels something in his heart yet he is not sure what it is. He questions himself- What is happening to me? Is this true? Who is she? Why do I feel like this for her? Questions that will be answered in time for him.

Ana realises that her heart which is closed has opened a little bit. She is scared and her traits warn her and ask her to run away. She probably for the first time she decides to not run away and go further in knowing this soul which is blocking and hiding from her. With her amazing skills of persuasion, love, affection she got Virgo to tell her about his mask, a mask called "The Clown" Once he told her about this he hid behind it. She by now had true love and affection for this Mysterious, strange, cute, person. She decided to convey this to him but not without telling him all about herself. Tears rolled that night, she cried her heart out, Virgo listened to her. At the end she thought, I have lost him, that is when she had succeeded in unmasking him... He responded that he loved her and wanted to marry her. He shed of his mask and replied to her that the new year will be celebrated with her. They both rang in the new year in their respective ways and soon enjoyed looking forward to knowing eachother more.

So what is Love? Love has been defined in plays "Romeo and Juliet", "Laila & Majnu", and many more. But this was different. In all of the love, distance never played a part. Here there was distance, never met but yet a strong bond to each other how hard the other may try to run away. So is this love?

Ana - Defined love in her SMS to vim - "If kiss was a rain drop I'd send you showers. If hug was a second, I would send you hours, If love was a person I'd send you me"
This defintion of love is amazing. Maybe we have read a lot more but this was truly amazing because, love was defined as a person and that person was she.

Libra womans love to virgo was now comitted, and could never be accounted. It was beyond any calculations, dimensions or description. She was so deeply in love with this man that she did the impossible. She unlocked his emotions. She made him shed a tear that he long forgot how to shed a tear. She made him feel emotions which he had forgotten about. Since they were far, and people were forcing her to marry them, she wore a ring to signify she was the Virgo man's Bride. She was handling a few individuals who had probably failed to unlock her heart and who were putting seeds of distance into her head for the Virgo man. She tried to run away from him, thats when he chased her down and made her respond to him. She realised, this was true love he was committed he was hers. She hugged him and kissed him and told him all that she wanted to do with him.

Virgo man in his part was now working hard to shape this world for her. He had long forgotten the art of doing it but was now working over time. He was focused and the new zest and energy in him was all the love this Libran was pouring out to him, she was giving him love that he had never felt before or for that matter no one ever will be able to feel. He knew no one will ever be in a position to give him this love, this passion, this committment to him that she was giving.

Their love which started in the bare desserts of sorrows, grew into shape and was a green meadow of grass, birds, trees and flowers. Every day they waited eagerly to speak to each other even if it meant 2 mins of their time is all that they got. Passion was high, that they could sense it even though they were far away.

It had happened , Libra had connected with Virgo and the cosmic heavens had opened up to hold them and to ensure their love would never die. The love so strong that their energy held them togther and even let them sense each other. They say Marriages are made in heaven. Well this one was 100% made in heaven and no where else. A journey of love and passion has begun. Ana & Vim no matter what comes will never leave each other. They draw strenghts from each other. They share each others sorrow and smiles. They are here to write a story of love that people will remember long after they have gone from this world....

Bolivian Princess

Been a long while since I last wrote on this blog 2010 January was the only blog published by me. Speaking of 2010 let me start by going back in time. The year 2010 was not what I expected it to be. My married life was in the dumps, no love between my better half or me. Nearing two years of married life and the road was still bumpy (an understatement) but full of twists, curves, potholes, fog, dangers. Being the son of a man who faced all difficulties and stood strong, I decided to face mine. So I summed up all my courage and prayed to the lord who created me and went ahead into a year which would be full of sorrow, death and love.

Jan 20th, my wedding anniversary to commemorate two years of married life. Started quietly the day, but soon ended into my wife having issues with everything that I did for her. The flowers were an issue, the dinner was an issue. It turned out to be a not so happy moment. That night the arguments which had already went beyond tolerable levels, and my wife moving out of Mumbai to Bangalore (A city in Southern India, state of Karnataka) was already taking its toll. Summoning all my inner strength I decided to sleep the night out.

May 5th, her birthday. My parents brought her a beautiful dress material, which she insulted them by saying she won’t have it in public. I got her a pendant which she threw in the bin. Money was not the problem but the insult to my parents did affect me. I was told "Never forget to respect anyone however big or small" As it was said in the old book "He who honours me, I will honour him"

June 10th decided once more to mend this damage, went to Bangalore, reasoned out with her and made her agree we could work this out. She spoke to my parents and everyone was happy as she had agreed to sort this. Somewhere around the same time, we went to Alibaug, in Mumbai, spent a few days there, swam, parasailed, jet skied , saw Dolphins, it was a memorable moment.

She goes back, August I get the notice for divorce from her, the ultimate straw in my now turmoil life.

October 28th 18:00hrs, I get my divorce completed and live a life of single man.

The story now begins with me really shattered in mid-way down 2010, lost not sure what to do. No emotions, no focus, no way out. Depression was getting his claws and hold around me. I had a job which was miserable even though well paid. No place to even get a moment of peace. No shoulder to lean on and speak my heart out. The whole world was shutting itself on me. Like a sailor I was riding the dark clouds of furious waves and storm. Sails torn, wood creaking, my ship of life was heading towards a place where even I was not sure if I would see shore again. I look back and I see 3 faces, my father, my mother and my younger brother. I turn around and look ahead again I see darkness. I close my eyes and then I look up into the dark skies which was pitch dark as hell, lightning flashes, thunder the sounds of doom laughing at me. I keep looking up and the creator, if this is what you want, then so be it. I bow my head down the rain of sorrow lashing on my face. I look far to see a ray of light but I see none.

I use my IM in this journey to find a friend, to whom I can speak my heart out. I visit various sites for friends and register on IFF. Here I meet a few people. Most perverts of the highest order. The rest of them did not interest to me. I do meet a few but then they get lost in time. It was around this time I first met October blue (A Bolivian Princess). We hardly speak, probably exchange pleasantries. Then I lose this friend too. But for some reason she is added into my IM.

The journey goes on when I reach the pain of divorce and mental stress. It is around this time; I log into my IM again and see a picture of October blue in India. I pass my statement on IM saying it’s a beautiful picture. This probably was my ray of light.

We talk on IM but never till date did I know why. But what was revealing was, when she was in India, she was always in the radius of 4kms to where ever I was and yet did not meet. She used to sense me and I used to sense her. Was this destiny? Spiritual connection? I do not know even today.

November 17th, I lost my uncle. I had barely met him a few weeks back. This hurt me so badly that I was alone home and had no clue to whom to express my pain. She came again as a ray of light, spoke to me and during this time, I called her for the very first time, I heard her. Her voice was beautiful. I had already seen her pic and she was on a social media site, her voice was as sweet as honey.

The storm that was raging in my life was showing signs of clearing. But the ruthlessness of the storm was still going on,I lost my uncle and then had a job that was even more painful. I quit the job to venture on my own, all this while I had this beautiful princess supporting me. Why I don’t know.

The raging storm was changing to worse, my brother was getting married on 16th Jan 2011 and here I was aimlessly steering in the storm of life.

Dec 04, 2010, The Bolivian Princess adds me on Skype. That’s where it all changed. The storm residing and the beginning of new hope. We spoke a lot over Skype and sms’ed a lot. I finally found a person who is not a close friend, who is not a personal friend, with whom I have no relationship, with whom I had just a Skype chat. She changed the way I was, I started laughing and smiling, enjoying a conversation. We enjoyed each other’s company. She was an awesome show jumper, and jumped her favourite horse Norman(Name changed to protect id). She plays tennis and is a very well qualified doctor.

Dec 31st, 2010 she called me to wish me a Great New Year. She called all the way from Bolivia. By now our conversations were open and lot of fun. During Xmas and New Year, I saw a child who was her nephew. Nice child. Gabriel was his name. I call him Freddie Kruger as he tried to scare me with his Freddie Kruger Mask. She wanted to tell me something, but I did not permit her too.

Jan 05th, 2011, I was on one knee and asked her to marry me and she agreed. The day I fell in love. She opened her heart to me. I asked all this even though two days earlier she told me about her past. Kruger was her second son. ( I will not discuss more of this) The tear in her eyes and honesty was what motivated me in my own journey.

3months, since I know her now, and every day our love blossoms into a stronger flower bed. She is committed to me as much as I am committed to her. My cousins, parents are all trying to get me married, but I have refused everything and have now fully focused on settling down with her. She calls me her chocolate, teddy, tiger and I call her my monkey, jaan, Bolivian Princess, queen of my heart. My life now is sailing with a new motivation, The storms have cleared, I look back see the same 3 faces , Father, Mother, Brother, now his wife and My wife, my angel, my Bolivian Princess.. I look ahead I see a clear sea with favourable weather, I close my eyes once again and look up into the sky, to see a bright blue clear sky and hear a voice that tells me, my son your mission is to meet her and you have succeeded. Now the rest of your life hold her hand and never leave her.

This is dedicated to that Bolivian Princess who has rescued me and made me see a new light and journey in life.

I love you my Bolivian princess. (Fellow bloggers I cant tell who she is. Those who know about her thank you for the support)

Fall of the Phoenix - Part1 Helios!

A phoenix is a mythical bird with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet (or purple, blue, and green according to some legends). It has a 500 to 1,000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self. In some stories, the new phoenix embalms the ashes of its old self in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis (sun city in Greek). It is said that the bird's cry is that of a beautiful song. In very few stories they are able to change into humans.

The story I shall publish in my blog is about the fall of this legendary bird in the corporate world... All characters in this blog are fictitious and any resemblance to a real person or entity is purely accidental.

The story begins with the birth of a young man called Helios. He was born to proud parents in a far of distant land were the sun was warm and golden. He was a healthy child and had dark thick hair as dark as the winter night sky. His eyes were the color of the earth brown and bright. Tall well structured and gifted with health, wealth and above all a godly presence around him. From a very young age Helios had both the qualities of his parents.

His father was a person who kept the laws of the land and his mother a very generous and well respected woman in the land. From his father he got the quality of being fearless and facing any enemy and from his mother he got the quality of being a god fearing and kind, loving person.

At a very young age Helios showed keen interest in the subjects of Science and Astrology. His sharp mind quickly took him to the head of his class and was soon the favorites of his teachers and friends. His interests in Astrology and various forms of prayers and predictions continued and had a strong influence in his life during the remaining years...

After passing school and excelling in his subjects, Helios took leave of his parents to go for further studies as his father would not let him join the army which he was so keen to do. He moved out of his home town and went into a large city to a well known education center. He majored in Science and Mathematics. He was very popular among his friends again and as naughty as he was, his professors always knew there was something special about Helios... Walking out of the University, armed with a degree in Science and Mathematics, Helios joins a very large organisation and begins were all young men would begin.. at the first step or bottom of the ladder.

He had entered the arena where Hard work and persistence was one way out. But also, he had to face the political scenarios, the threats, competition, back stabbing and strategies played by many a personnel... Helios had entered his first arena called "The Corporate"...

Driving skills in a Shopping Mall

This morning, I went off to do the weekly shopping with my dad at a very prominent Shopping mall in Andheri (west). As it was the usual customary, we took a shopping trolley/cart and started the usual routine of walking down the lanes if you wanna call them that to get our list completed. As we were going about the routine, I started getting into the rush hour zone which was the Veggies, Fish, Meat and groceries departments. Many a times, I got bumped from behind by a shopping trolley. To be safe, I told my dad that I should do the driving and he should hold the list. To which I decided to see if I could observe some driving habits of people. And here is what I saw and noticed, maybe the next time you go you could probably better the list of things I saw.

1. Near the Meat and Fish Zone:
My fellow trolley drivers decided to cause a junction jam by keeping their trolleys in every place. Add to this the pedestrians were trying to squeeze in and walk in the possible little space available for them. One bad parking by a driver who could not make up her mind and she parked her trolley bang on the entrance.

2. Near the Veggies areas:

This is like driving through crowded old Delhi streets.Chaos maximum. Old Murphy would have decided not to be anywhere here. While I was trying to get my way across, I had this rash driver a young lad of 15 who rammed his trolley into another and the gentleman owning that trolley was no longer gentle. The volley of words were the choicest I have ever heard. Then another incident took place were the veggies were being weighed and wrapped, an incident of lane cutting and getting in the middle of the line.

3. Freeway

This is normally the zone from the toiletries to veggie zone open space. At the junction for veggies and meat, a trolley speeding bangs into a loaded cargo trolley. The cargo drivers is not shaken but the kid is and is all staring in fear.

4. Exit Zone

This is the most disciplined zone as all traffic is channeled to the exit. As we stand queuing up we notice all of sudden the drivers are all patient and disciplined and I am not sure why this zone of peace? As we pay and exit, we see the gang up of indiscipline driving again near the lift to parking.

So now when i have finally loaded my goods into my car and parked my trolley, I am thinking do you think we can observe and note good drivers or not?

Not sure, but now I do have a fun way to do my shopping. Watching folks drive :)

Enjoy your weekend all

Liberhan or Librarian?

Today, I was watching Barkha Dutt on NDTV a news media channel in India. She was having a debate about the Liberhan report. So what is this Liberhan report my young citizens who were born after 93 would wonder? For them some information -

Liberhan Commission headed by the retired judge of Supreme Court M S Liberhan was constituted on December 16, 1992 by an order of the Indian union home ministry following the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya on 6 December and the riots in Ayodhya. The Commission was expected to submit its report within three months. After a delay of 17 years, the commission submitted the report to the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh on 30 June 2009. On 23 November 2009 the report leaked into the media. It indicted top BJP leaders as being actively involved in the meticulous planning of the demolition of the mosque. There was an uproar in the Lok Sabha over this as the opposition accused the Home Ministry for deliberately leaking the report. The Parliament session had to be adjourned for the day. The Government assured to table the report with an ATR(Action Taken Report) during the winter session of the Parliament. The deadline for the Government to table the report in Parliament is 30 December 2009.

So to give you an idea what 17 years looks like, I was 17 years then, a young lad, now I am 34, married for the last two years, nearly forgotten about this sad incident in the country's history. India has progressed from ISP Dial- ups to broadband connection. We have nearly conquered the Moon. Most politicians from 17 years back are on their last legs ( what ancient stages of life would mean Sanyas, from where he gets Moksha.) So question to me as a citizen of this country? Does this report mean anything to you? Answer- 17 years, 8crs ? well yes it does. 8crs means my hard earned money which I pay as taxes to create schools and infrastructure for the country. Time, which should have been used to focus on development and education and health. Time, to no longer make a mockery of ME a CITIZEN of this country. I am sure a commission will be set up to find out why Liberhan took 17 years and so much money to submit this report. And that commission will be called "LIBRARIAN".

Wheels of Death!

This Morning, when I read the Mumbai Mirror, A 27 year old lad was crushed by a speeding B.E.S.T Bus ( Public Transport Bus) for no fault of his. The reason being the driver of the bus, who is supposed to have gone through hours of training on what we may feel as defensive driving techniques decided to jump a red light! Mumbai Mirror published the story, the driver has been suspended, the law will takes its course and punish him. What about the young boys dreams? His parents who cared for him and brought him up with lots of love and affection? His dreams to give his parents a better life?

One thing I really feel sad when I look up at my homeland and my city I love the most (India & Mumbai) is the sense of discipline. I drive every day to work. I travel through rush hour traffic. If we are to use the term serial killers or culprits then I see many every day on my way to work. Traffic lights are never noticed. Stand near the famous Inorbit Mall at around 9:30am - 10 am and you will notice what I mean. Forever the hurry to jump the signal, constant crawling over the Zebra crossing hardly visible.

When it comes to Lane discipline, our two great friends are ever ready to flaunt it. Bikers and Autos. Speaking of Autos, many of them do not even have functioning break lamps. During the night drives our dear auto boys feel its important to save power and drive without their lights on!

Someone said once in my class of 2002 MBA in England - "You want a James Bond drive! Drive down crowded traffic, hire a Auto Rickshaw in India and they will make your prayers reach god"

In the land where we have the Palace on Wheels, we find the Wheels of death!

I wish the law would book the offenders seriously and bring in the fear that they have established in the case of Alcoholic driving in Mumbai and rest of India.

This is how Media works…..!!!

Below is an email I received today, this was a forward from my wife. But what it reads is absolutely an inside story as to how the Media works.

Here is how the Indian TV news channel would report the Jack and Jill nursery rhyme. All names (except those of Jack and Jill), are fictitious.

Prashant - TV Anchor

Two persons have been injured in a freak climbing accident. Jack and his companion Jill had gone up a hill to fetch a pail of water when Jack fell down and broke his crown. Jill came tumbling after. Live from the hill, our reporter, Amrita Shah, takes up the story.

Amrita Shah

Thank you Prashant. Well, as you say, two persons - Jack and Jill - had gone up a hill to fetch a pail of water. Suddenly, Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after. Prashant.

Prashant

Thank you Amrita. What do we know about the hill?

Amrita

Not too much. Jack was going up the hill to fetch a pail of water when he fell down and broke his crown. Jill came tumbling after

[Headline appears at the foot of the TV screen: "hill breaks crown of pail-boy Jack"]

Prashant

What news of Jack and Jill?

Amrita

Prashant, it seems that Jack had gone up the hill to fetch a pail of water. We know nothing about the pail, or how heavy it was but it seems that Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after. I have here with me, an eyewitness to the accident, Mr Shahid Trivedi. Mr Shahid, tell us what you saw.

Shahid Trivedi

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after.

[Headline appears at the foot of the TV screen: "Boy and girl tumble down hill. Water spilled"]

Amrita

Jack and Jill. What do we know about them? Are they brother and sister? Are they married? Just what were they doing on the hill together?

Shahid Trivedi

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail a water.

Amrita

And what happened next?

Shahid Trivedi

Jack fell down and broke his crown

Amrita

Go on.

Shahid Trivedi

And Jill came tumbling after.

Amrita

Prashant, there you have it. Two people innocently going about their business to fetch a pail of water when one of them falls down, breaks his crown, and the other comes tumbling after. Back to you in the studio Prashant.

[Headline appears at the foot of the TV screen: "Water errand ends in tragedy"]

Prashant

I have with me in the studio now, Professor Chandrashekar Belagare from the Indian Institute of Applied Hill Sciences. Professor: a hill; Jack; Jill; a pail of water. A tragedy waiting to happen?

Professor

Well that depends on the hill, the two persons, the object they were carrying and the conditions underfoot. Let us look at the evidence so far.

Jack and Jill

Went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down

And broke his crown

And Jill came tumbling after.

Clearly, one would suspect that if Jack’s fall was severe enough to break his crown then the surface of the hill must have been slippery or unstable. But I think we’re overlooking something quite fundamental here. Who was carrying the pail? Jack fell down and broke his crown and – this is the key – Jill came tumbling after. If Jack and Jill had been carrying the pail together, would they not have fallen at the same time? The fact that Jill came tumbling after suggests that Jack lost his footing first and perhaps knocked Jill over as he slipped.

Prashant

Professor thank you very much. So there we have it, two persons – Jack and Jill – went up the hill to fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after. Later in the programme, Osama bin Laden captured in Afghanistan, President Bush says rent-boy menage-a-trois was "just a brief lapse of judgement", and Pakistan launches nuclear warheads against key Indian cities. But next up, join us after the break for a studio discussion about hills, boys and girls and whether water-fetching trips should be supervised. We’ll be right back...
